Mission and objectives:<\/strong>
The research centre is subordinated to the\nresearch strategy at FSEAP level and is\ndeeply anchored in the international, national\nand regional context, through the activity of\nCERC members and existing collaborations.\nCERC-Tour is initiated to facilitate research\nand the establishment of research teams in\ntourism, to increase the quality of research\nand to strengthen cooperation with various\neconomic agents and institutions of local\nauthorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The set-up of the centre was based on the\nsignificant contribution of USV in the\ndevelopment and promotion of the Bucovina\ndestination, but also on the importance of the\ncontributions made by FSEAP teachers in the\nfield of tourism science and business\nadministration.
The scientific research is carried out in two\ndirections: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

a) within the faculty, individually or\nin a team, on scientific or interdisciplinary\nfields; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

b) in cooperation with other institutions\nor economic agents, having a practical-\napplicative character. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The field of tourism is\none of the fields with tradition within FSEAP,\nbeing the first specialization of this faculty.
The Faculty of Economics and Public\nAdministration (FSEAP) initiates and\nparticipates in research programs in\ncollaboration with universities, centres and\ninstitutions from Romania and from other European Union countries, on tourism topics,\nas well as with local and central public\nadministration authorities. FSEAP was invited\nto contribute to the implementation of tourism\nstrategies for Suceava Municipality, for\nSuceava County, for other destinations in the\ncounty, and for destination management
associations (Association for Tourism\nBucovina, Association for Tourism\nDevelopment and Promotion Sucevita, Vama,\netc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, FSEAP academic staff\ncooperated with important international\norganizations in tourism development projects,\namong which we mention: GIZ (Gesellschaft\nfuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit), NFI\n(Nature Friends International), WWF Romania\n(Danube-Carpathians Program), Romanian\nEcotourism Association), Suceava Chamber of\nCommerce and Industry, North-East\nDevelopment Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CERC mission<\/strong>
Developing knowledge in tourism through\nadvanced research in this field, as well as\nincreasing the quality of services in the\nhospitality industry through organized training\nprograms. The research potential of the\ncollaborators and the projects in which they\nparticipate, it represents opportunities that\nFSEAP aims to develop and dynamize in\nfuture research and training programs, within\nthe CERC Tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
